She loved to sleep for long long hours..
Her parents thought she was ill.. Her peers thought she was lazy..
She knew it was only during her sleep , that she met “HIM” in dreams , held “HIM” tightly and loved “HIM” as much as she could.

What can be a better gift for your parents than your own drawing !!!
3rd May was the anniversary of my parents so I decided to gift them something special instead of regular gifts from store, so I decided to gift them a painting of my own. Thanks to google from where I got idea of this painting. I remember during my childhood I always made cards for them but as I grew up due to excess pressure of studies I could not make it for them any more. So this year when I have little time in hand after my job I decided to draw once again. To make it more special I framed it so that it can be with them forever.
You can also gift your dear ones something made out of your own hands as that involves your feelings and touch much more than expensive or ready made gifts from stores.
Go ahead and bring smile on lips of your dear ones.
P.S the signature named “munai” in the picture is actually mine as my nickname is munai 🙂
Today I want to share with each one of you 5 most important learnings which my life taught me in these years. Since its my birthday tomorrow ie 2nd october and this year is a very eventful year in my life so I want to share the most important lessons.
The major 5 lessons are:
1) Being honest always gives immense joy even if it creates problem initially.
2) Keep loving a person without expecting in return BUT love that person who will atleast respect you or be grateful to you for your love, even if he/she does not love you back in return.
3) Keep working hard and with honesty because may be not today or tomorrow but surely someday you will get what you deserve.
4) Have faith in God, if not God then atleast believe that there is a supreme force/power which can do anything and everything so firmly believe in God or that supreme power and be assured that you will get whatever is meant for you to be.
5) Trust others , may be people will take advantage of that but still keep trusting because it may happen so that you loose a dear one just because you did not trust him/her.
Hope these lessons will help many of you to gain a happy loving life..
You all must be wondering what is this !! 😀
Let me tell you this is nothing but just what I did to pass time in my office when I was not in the mood to work.
I was just drawing little objects and then I decided to write few quotes on them.
What ever was coming to my mind right then I started drawing them on a sheet of paper..
P.S SMR is the short form of my husband’s name which you will find in the heart drawn :p
P.P.S the object with tail is a cat, which I am sure you didnt understand before I mentioned 😉
Enjoy this piece of handwork and try out the same when you are free…………………..
She loved her parents as every other child does. She was very home sick and always clinged to her parents. But after growing up she usually never hugged them or adore them like she did in childhood.
But today before leaving, she wanted to hold them tight and say ” I LOVE YOU BABA MA” !! She could not control her tears.
P.s Baba Ma is father mother in vernacular.
Since childhood I always wished to work in a big branded company. Being an engineer in the field of computer science was always my dream. Whenever I saw people coming out of the offices with the employee badges I felt so jealous as I wanted to be right there. The tall office buildings were like churches and temple to me as the two are to religious people.
My journey of being an engineer was not very easy or smooth. I moved step by step towards my goal, but at times I failed and fell but I never stopped. I was totally disheartened at times but still never lost all hopes.
Today finally I reached my goal. Today I stood on the topmost floor of my office with the employee badge hanging from my neck. This sounds stupid to some people I guess but trust me the Happiness I got today maybe I cant explain with words right here.
We all have small or big goals and dreams in life, today I realised the happiness and joy of accomplishing the goal even after crossing thorns and hurdles your way..
I am specially happy for my parents because today I could fulfill their dream too, their effort and sacrifice finally got a reward.
As I have felt the happiness, I pray that all of you and even the persons I dont know may reach their goal and enjoy this pleasure. Best of luck to all !!
She finally touched her dream. Everyone praised and wished her. She was getting wrapped with happiness. But she had to leave her home, her favourite bed, her study table, her toys, her books and mainly her parents.
She realised she didnt touch her dream rather moved out of dreamland and stepped into reality.
They are my building blocks,
For me and my need they are awake for every tick of the clock !
Just when I opened my eyes they were the ones to first hold me tight,
I know they love me with all that they have even though at times I fight !
They are my strength, my guide, my friend,
I am sure the will be equally loving and caring till their end !
They made me into what I am today,
by sacrificing their life each second and day !
They are my gift of God through days “sunny, cloudy, stormy”,
O God its so true that I love you daddy and mommy !!!
p.s Dedicated to my Baba and Ma. And also all loving parents of the world ……
p.p.s Baba and Ma means father and mother in vernacular.
“There is a limit to everything” !! This is the one line which is said by all of us often rather its felt by many of us. But recently after going through a stormy phase of my life I started believing that there is only one thing which is limitless i.e PATIENCE. When I was having sleepless nights, eyes filled with tears, off beat mood then my parents and one of my closest person went on saying “HAVE PATIENCE”, but I was always reluctant to hear this but somewhere deep within my heart I did hold on the patience. The patience gave me hope of a better tomorrow, the patience gave me strength to carry on with my works n duties with a smile, the patience helped me have faith on my ownself.
Today standing at this point of my life I can say that “yes !! the patience of yesterday grew a sunny bright today in my life”. It helped to reach or achieve the success which I always prayed and worked for.
I want to thank everyone who made me understand the key to success i.e PATIENCE..
I believe like me many of you may be going through a tough time in life so I would suggest you to have patience because I am sure like me one day you will smile too coz of patience..
“PATIENCE WITH OTHERS IS LOVE,
PATIENCE WITH SELF IS HOPE,
PATIENCE WITH GOD IS FAITH”
