Its none other than our very own mother “nature”.
No matter how hard we try , we cant play with colours like nature does and this picture which was clicked by me in Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is one the best example I believe..

Two little eggs beside my window on the nest,
Watching fluffy mother birdy lay over it was the best.
So much love and care was sparkling through the eyes of mother birdy,
That it made me think of my own baby.
I opened the window pane just for fun,
But the caring mother birdy started twists and turns.
She looked ! as if with her I was in a state of war,
But I failed to explain “I wont harm coz i too am a would b mother !!”
I finally closed window for mother birdy to forget fear and rest,
Once again in my heart I realized Mothers are always the best …………
“This poem is dedicated to all mothers and would-be mothers of this world..”
This poem was written by me a year back when I went for a short trip in one of the famous tourist place of India and there was a nest as right outside the window pane of my hotel room. I watched the mother pigeon throughout the entire afternoon as I was super excited to see the nest and eggs so closely.. The love, care and warmth exhibited by the bird inspired me to write this poem.. Hope you all enjoyed it !!

What can be a better gift for your parents than your own drawing !!!
3rd May was the anniversary of my parents so I decided to gift them something special instead of regular gifts from store, so I decided to gift them a painting of my own. Thanks to google from where I got idea of this painting. I remember during my childhood I always made cards for them but as I grew up due to excess pressure of studies I could not make it for them any more. So this year when I have little time in hand after my job I decided to draw once again. To make it more special I framed it so that it can be with them forever.
You can also gift your dear ones something made out of your own hands as that involves your feelings and touch much more than expensive or ready made gifts from stores.
Go ahead and bring smile on lips of your dear ones.
P.S the signature named “munai” in the picture is actually mine as my nickname is munai 🙂
This is the national bird of India named Peacock. This is considered to be the most beautiful in the world. This bird is also famous for its dance during rain.
I tried to draw a peacock in modern style. Hope you all like it 🙂
(p.s peacock is the male bird which is really beautiful. Peahen is the female which is not equally beautiful )
Hello !! I am back with my another drawing using oil pastel. Those of you who regularly follow my blog must have realized that I have again got back my lost hobby i.e painting and drawing. In the past few posts I have uploaded paintings by me.
Today again when I sat for painting, I was thinking what I can draw. Then suddenly I decided to draw a Toucan (a bird), as this is one of my most favourite bird.. I love this bird because of its beautiful beak..
I took the help of google to draw this. When I ended the drawing I myself liked it a lot.
I purposely made it colorful as I planned to frame it for my room and I thought the more colorful it is the more it will beautify my room in the gloomy days of rat race …

This picture was taken by me in New York. This particular tree is somewhat very special to me as I got some deep lessons from this. You might wonder what lesson can we get from a species which can neither talk, walk or show expression. But if we carefully think and look this tree we surely get some important life changing lessons.. And from my point of view they are:
